Ori Abdat and his childhood friend, Omer, began their journey in real estate eight years ago when they rented apartments with the aim of subletting them. Today, they manage 120 properties, including two hotels, and their business model is based on arbitrage – renting properties on long-term contracts and renting them out at higher prices for short-term stays. Although the field carries risks and operational challenges, such as high fees for marketing platforms, the two have managed to adapt even during tough times like the COVID-19 pandemic.

After COVID-19 affected tourism, they rented an entire building in Tel Aviv, leading to the establishment of a successful company. Today, they focus on renting entire buildings and managing apartments for private property owners. Abdat emphasizes that property management requires interpersonal skills, and his recommendation for anyone looking to enter the field is to start small, with a few apartments, to understand the complexities of the market.
