The regional committee in Jerusalem is expected to discuss next week two major urban renewal projects in the city. The first project focuses on the Beit Vagan neighborhood, where 54 housing units will be demolished to build 259 new units in three buildings, including a 23-story tower. The project, submitted by Shneurson Build Up, will also include commercial space of 1,500 square meters.
The second project focuses on the Norit complex in the Kiryat Menachem neighborhood, where a 38-story tower and 278 new housing units are planned, replacing 64 units that will be demolished. The project, submitted by Ta'amn Real Estate, will also include open public space and space for public buildings of 2,000 square meters. These are two significant projects that could transform the neighborhoods and add thousands of housing units in the city, aiming to address the housing shortage in Jerusalem.
